I love making rich, hearty soups in the fall. There's nothing like being cold outside and cozying up under a blanket with a bowl of hot soup to warm you up. I make soups relatively often as a little goes a long way and it's healthy, filling, and less expensive as it feeds a lot of people (or there's always leftovers). The recipe isn't much of a looker, but let me assure you the flavor makes up for it. I actually made this particular soup last fall and loved it so much I had to repeat it! The 227 calories per serving isn't a bad thing either. Recipe here.
